From night cream to overnight nail serum, here are three products I’ve been using to amp up my beauty game… while I sleep.
My skincare regimen is pretty elaborate, to say the least. For one, I use a different moisturizer before bed than I do in the morning. Why? Night creams tend to be loaded with actives that take advantage of the fact that your skin is in regeneration mode while you snooze. But recently, other products meant to be used at night have started popping up; and they’re not necessarily for your face.
Sally Hansen Moisture Rehab Strengthener
I don’t always apply a new polish every single time I take off my old one. When my nails are bare, I like to use cuticle oil and a cuticle pusher to make sure my nails are nice and neat. This overnight nail serum is the new addition to my in-between colours routine: it gives them back their shine and improves their moisture level overnight. The gel is thick enough to stay on your nails, but not enough to stain your sheets.

PHYTO SECRET DE NUIT
I’ve always liked to use hair oil on my strands before going to bed. Sometimes I braid my hair after applying it, and wake up to silky waves. The catch: hair oil can be greasy and weigh down fine hair. This overnight hair cream, though, is great on all hair types. My hair soaks it up, and its calming scent helps put me in sleep mode.

Biotherm Aquasource Nuit
The Aquasource line has been around for ages (I remember it being a favourite when I worked at the cosmetics counter at Pharmaprix almost 15 years ago); this night jelly has that distinctive Aquasource scent while being a joy to apply on my face. It doesn’t leave my skin greasy—just perfectly moisturized.
