If you’ve ever spent more than 10 seconds on this blog, you’ll have realized that as well as being beauty enthusiast, I’m also a serious cat worshipper. So needless to say, Paul & Joe Beauté charmed me early on thanks to the brand’s recurring cat theme.
As you know, I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging, but on top of making their products look absolutely stunning, Paul & Joe Beauté really don’t skimp on quality. This year, they are celebrating their 15th anniversary, and have launched a special makeup collection to mark the occasion. I fell in love at first sight when I opened the cute pink and white box—so many kitties, and such lovely makeup!
Here is a look at what’s inside:
The box looks so pretty from the outside, with its lovely pattern and cat-shaped knob!
Six eyeshadow kitties await inside, as well as a case that can hold three of the eyeshadows, and a cat lipstick in the drawer.
The pouch that comes with the collection is also super cute. How could you not love a makeup bag with cat ears?!
The eyeshadows are extremely detailed, as is the lipstick (shade: Petite Princess), which is a throwback to Paul & Joe’s original cat lipstick design from spring 2012. I love its little hat!
I’ve only discreetly swatched the lipstick, because I can’t bear to hurt the cat. Same thing with the eyeshadows: they are very pigmented, and I’m sure would go on very nicely. But personally, I see this collection as more of a collector’s item, rather than something I would use every day.
